Doug was experiencing battery issues and the car wasn't starting, so he texted Patrick Banta (owner of San Francisco Automotive Solutions). Pat replied right back. Doug had already tried jump-starting the vehicle several times himself with no luck. However, Pat recommended that he call AAA for a jump-start because their equipment has more power.
"Sure enough, the battery started, and I was able to take the car up to SF for Pat to take a look," Doug adds. "He wanted to check the battery's health and make sure there was no parasitic damage. He noted that the battery I had installed was the wrong size and was drained, but luckily there was no problem with the electrical system in my car."
While replacing the battery for Doug, one of the automotive technicians at San Francisco Automotive Solutions discovered that the radiator was cracked and also the belt tightener was broken. We immediately informed the customer and he authorized the additional repairs.
"Pat graciously provided a loaner, and I returned two days later with my BMW in perfect condition," Doug concludes. "Instead of getting saddled with new car payments, with San Francisco Automotive Solutions, I expect to keep driving my ultimate driving machine well past the 200,000 mile mark!"
